ALFACOUSTIC designs and makes silencers designed to lower the level of sound coming from ventilation and extraction networks, air ducts or any type of application which requires ventilation.
Areas of use: – Interior for noise problems linked to operators and working conditions, – Exterior for environmental noise pollution subject to regulation.
A silencer is made up of one or more baffles laid out in parallel, keeping air passages open. The dimensions of silencers are calculated based on how much sound needs to be blocked and functional restrictions (head loss), air speed…).
Silencers can be installed in places in the network where air enters or exits.
Complementary accessories: Anti-volatile grille, rainproof cover , blocking shutters.
Cylindrical silencers are used for air networks with circular ducts, in chimneys or at the entrances and exits of ventilators.
The optimal head loss (?) is related to acoustic performance. They are adapted according to how they perform at a high temperature and at increased air speeds.
The choice of material (steel, E24, stainless steel, aluminium etc.) is made according to the characteristics of the fluid transmitted.
