This acoustic treatment offered by ALFACOUSTIC consists of putting absorbent material on the walls of an area in order to reduce the effect of reverberations.
By doing this, a reduction in the amount of time the sound reverberates leads to a significant reduction in sound level.
When walls are made of reverberant material (metallic siding, smooth partitions etc.), placing absorbent panels on the walls is very effective, and even more so when the source of noise is near the wall or placed in an angle of the building.
We use absorbent wall panels or perforated metal sheets or siding, placed on underlayers of mineral wool or glass wool.
As for the false ceilings, the thickness and density of the absorbent underlayer need to be adapted to the nature of the noises, as well as the size and percentage of perforations.
